PAYMENTS

The cost for Grayson was $255.28. We had a credit of $155 because I returned the 3 month flea treatment. It was for our cats - the Hooligans - but I found it too difficult to use and went back to the one month. We have to use flea treatment on our inside cats because the outside cats have fleas, and they inevitably get transferred inside. We simply can't afford flea treatment for the outside cats and would be unable to apply it to some of them that as yet can't be handled.

Second invoice is the 3 year rabies for Ollie and even friendly old Ollie had to be mildly sedated at the vets. Law in NC mandates one year rabies for first vaccination and 3 year after that.

Invoice for the third kitten - Grayson's sister - who had a broken leg. Vet advised that given her young age, it would heal on its own and it has.

Beyond neutering and feeding, we take care of these cats and that's a big difference between a TNR program and simply hoarding or feeding a bunch of strays.

FOOD

We order wet food from Chewy.com and buy kibble locally. It is more expensive for wet food, though we buy an inexpensive brand, but it is healthier and helps prevent UTIs and other health problems.

Chewy Purina wet food costs us about $72.00 per month, and about $17.00 per month for kibble.
